Information We Collect

When you visit our website, place a reservation, join our mailing list, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing information, payment information, order details, and support messages.

We may use trusted third-party services including Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Mailchimp, and Kickstarter to operate our website, process payments, analyze traffic, communicate with customers, and manage campaign-related activity.

How Violoop Handles Your Data

To do its job, Violoop observes your screen through the HDMI connection. It may read on-screen text using OCR, interface structure, cursor and window focus, selected text, and clipboard activity. This helps Violoop understand context and prepare helpful next steps.

Violoop only reads and prepares. It never sends, submits, deletes, pays, or shares anything until you physically approve it with the button or approve it through the software. Preparation is automatic; commitment is always yours.

Local-First Processing

Violoop is built local-first. High-frequency decisions, including when to appear, what to suggest, which memories are relevant, and what should stay private, run on the device itself. Your raw screen does not leave the device.

When you accept a suggestion that requires heavier generation, a small, privacy-filtered snippet of context may be sent to cloud AI services. We do not send raw screenshots or your full screen. Before anything leaves the device, an on-device filter is designed to remove sensitive content.

Improving Violoop

With your permission, Violoop may use interaction data to improve accuracy and build new skills over time. This data is tied to a hashed ID, not your name, email, or account.

We filter this data to remove sensitive content before storage, and each record carries a privacy and retention level. You can turn this off anytime in Settings → Privacy → Improve Violoop. Turning it off does not change how your device works for you.

We never sell your data. We never use the content of your files to train third-party models.

Children’s Privacy

Violoop is not intended for children under 13 years old.
